CityLink would like to advise of some upcoming maintenance work which may affect a small number of our IP and Dark Fibre customers. CityLink will be relocating a core network node during the week commencing Monday 9th June. This will involve a considerable amount of fibre relocation affecting both IP and dark-fibre circuits. This work is scheduled to take place in a series of sessions from 8pm Tuesday 10 June, then after 6pm Wednesday 11 June and after 6pm Thursday 12th June.
Outage notices have been sent to all affected customers, so if you have not been contacted by us, then your connection should be fine. If any customers who have not been contacted by us, experience a service interruption during this time, please contact us through the normal channels.
CityLink staff will be on site to ensure services are restored as quickly as possible. However, as CityLink has no visibility concerning the operational state of private dark-fibre circuits, we would appreciate if BandwidthMAX and BandwidthPLUS customers could verify their connections are working as they would expect.
CityLink apologises for any inconvenience this work may cause, as it is driven by the need to relocate a core node within the network. Should you require any further information please contact Andrea on (04) 917 0200.
