Following incident impact assessment four seperate fibre cables are affected: two 144, one 96 and one 24 core
The Road has been cleared of the downed cable and traffic management is on site
New fibre cables are being lifted into place
Splicing is expected to be able to be started around 13:00 today

Incident assessment has shown a 144 fibre cable will need to be replaced.
Cables are expected to be lifted into place by midday. Currently it is estimated splicing will be completed late afternoon.
